A Journey Through Light, Landscape & Creativity
I am a West Country Artist living in Dorset. I produce and sell original artwork, undertake commissioned projects and offer art tutoring.
I have developed my art through independent practice, supported by a background in interior design, using and teaching decorative specialist paint effects. Alongside my creative work, I spent many years supporting young people within the community and later managing a residential young people’s facility. During this time, I used art to encourage confidence, self-expression, and wellbeing, which deepened my own passion for creativity. I began taking on commissions and my artistic practice grew from there, but I still wanted to work closely with people, which led me into tutoring and supporting others through art.
Creative Experience and Inclusive teaching

Creating decorative finishes and bespoke painted effects with a strong focus on texture, atmosphere and visual detail across both residential and creative environments.
03 Self-employed Artist
Producing expressive contemporary artwork inspired by light, landscape and everyday surroundings, alongside commissioned pieces, prints and creative mentoring.
04 NVQ Level 3 Social Care Children and Young People
Qualified in supporting children and young people through compassionate, person-centred care, with a focus on challenging behaviour, drug and alcohol support, and mental health awareness.
05 Community Support worker
Working closely with individuals in community settings to encourage independence, confidence, creativity and meaningful everyday engagement.
Faith, Art and Community
I have travelled a long and winding road and the only constant in my life has been my art. It has been my refuge and through it I find peace, purpose and clarity. I have worked with Homeless Charities, Churches, Mental Health Organisations, Small Art Charities and Youth Projects. My input can be as little as a donation of an art doodle, a free art day painting and crafting or an art exhibition to highlight youth homelessness. I see my love of creativity as a tool to share and inspire others to believe in their own artistic creative ability.

Welcome to my light-filled sanctuary where a garden view inspires relaxed creativity and supportive tuition
My studio is located on the ground floor with beautiful views into the garden, creating a comfortable, calm and inspiring environment. The space is thoughtfully arranged to support mindfulness, mentoring, and creative development.
As a working studio, it houses my original artworks and provides an authentic creative environment where visitors can experience my artistic process firsthand.
Disabled access
My studio is on the ground floor, with just one step at the entrance and one step to the toilet. This makes it manageable for visitors with reduced mobility, though please note that it is not wheelchair accessible. Parking is available right outside, so the studio is as easy to reach as possible.
One to one tuition
I offer supportive one-to-one art tuition focused on building confidence, supporting wellbeing, and improving mental welfare in a calm, positive environment. Sessions are tailored to each individual, helping people learn new skills, channel their creativity, and grow in confidence at their own pace.
Family fun and learning days
Ages 5 to 83 created their very first acrylic paintings, imagining a beach scene from scratch. With simple guidance, each included sea, land, and two extra elements, producing wonderfully personal and confident first artworks.
Mentoring
Creative mentoring is something I find deeply rewarding – working one to one with someone, helping them build confidence, find their artistic voice, and grow at their own pace. Whether you are working through a creative block, developing your own work, or simply want encouragement and direction, I will tailor each session around you and where you want to go.
Commissioned work
I love working closely with clients to create something truly personal – whether it is a portrait of a beloved animal, a painting of a special place, or an illustrated invitation for a celebration. Working in oils, acrylics, chalk pastel, pen and ink, I discuss every detail with you from the start so the finished piece is exactly what you imagined.
Group sessions
Bringing a group together for a shared creative experience is one of my favourite things to do. With all materials, easels and tools provided, I guide everyone through a painting session in my peaceful rural studio – and people are often wonderfully surprised by what they create and how much they enjoy it.
